Access for disabled visitors: almost all sectors of the museums are accessible to disabled persons with the exception of the Vatican Gardens, whose path is not suitable for wheelchair users. Admission is free for all disabled persons are provided with certification of disability higher than 74% and, if necessary, for an accompanying person. These free tickets are issued directly onsite at the Reception or the door Special Permits. Bathrooms are adequately equipped in each museum. For visually impaired visitors can be reserved the "tactile tour service and sensory pathways." And 'it allowed access even for guide dogs on a leash and muzzled. For deaf visitors is available upon reservation on guided tour with an interpreter in the Italian Sign Language or American Sign Language. Animals: the only animals allowed inside the museums are guide dogs for the blind with a muzzle and leash. Toilets: inside the museum tours you can find many toilettes some suitable for disabled people and changing table for babies. Post Office: is located at the exit in the Courtyard of Armour. Philatelic and Numismatic Office: you can buy stamps and numismatic issues of the Vatican State, it is next to the post office. Bookshop: along the museum routes you can find various specialized libraries with books on art, souvenirs and jewelry.
